Destination weddings outside of Australia

If you have your wedding outside of Australia and want your marriage to be filed with Australia’s Birth, Deaths and Marriages Department, a separate ceremony will need to be conducted in Australia - this can be a very simple 5-10 minute ceremony with the marrying couple and two witnesses.
